starting my journey tomorrow
My flight leaves at 11:35 tomorrow out of Logan. I'm flying Jet Blue (there are mini tvs on the back of the seats so thats exciting.) to NY, JFK airport. Then I have to switch terminals and check in to my lufthansa flight to Frankfurt. I have about 4 or 5 hours in JFK to bum around, watch movies, go online, read my book... and just be really bored. Then at 6:05 I leave JFK on an overnight flight to Frankfurt. Arriving in Frankfurt I have to pick up my bags and take them to a bus where I will be going to Strasbourg. In Strasbourg I get to meet all of my fellow LC travelers and the program directors and go out to lunch. Then I will be taking a train to Nancy to meet my host mother. This is probably all quiet boring information to most of you but my this is where my trip starts. I am about to embark on a journey that will be life changing and honestly I am a little scared. Im sure everything will be amazing, but since im now still sitting in my room at home, the reality hasn't sunk in. I am excited to live with a different family ( not that my parents aren't great) and meet so many new people. Hopefully I will be able to make a lot of great friends and meet a french boyfriend (lol). I am also ready to be speaking French everyday.... ohh how much I will improve. Can't forget the wine and the great food! Well, this is where one journey is put on hold so another one can happen. Get ready to come travel with me to France. I will try and update this blog once a week so you can follow up on whats happening. As for now, sleep is necessary for my travels and I shall return once I settle into my new home.
